What is this Page

And what is it for.

A long time ago in a not so far away galaxy, I used to do a bunch of stuff I don't have the time or inspiration for any more. One of them was making films. I'm going to post some of them on the main Newsome.Org page shortly, and one day I may make another one. But other than souped up family videos, it will probably be a while.

I also used to write fiction. I wrote short stories and part of a novel called "The Quintessential Drag." A couple of the items here are excerpts from that long forgotten project.

This page was going to be the showcase, such as it is, for that writing. Now, however, there are other things that I need and prefer to do and Rancho DeNada and Err Bear Music keep my free time well occupied.

I thought about taking this page down altogether, but even after 6 years, I still get an email every month or so from someone who read 5 Days in April and connected with the story.

So we'll keep it here and maybe one day, I'll get inspired to write something else. In the meantime, if you have trouble sleeping I still write about all sorts of irrelevant things at Rancho DeNada.
