By the way, I also found myself listening to your RanchoCast for the first time - prior to reading it on Doc Searls weblog actually - and your discussion of the gatekeeper concept came through much more clearly and more interesting than when you wrote about it. That is not an insult about your writing, it's just a example of the power of podcasting. You explained it very very well.
