Hi Mojotek, just read you said "I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with how difficult it is to actually find blogs and blog posts that interest me", so you may want to give Megite a try with your personal OPML feeds, it can auto discover more blogs and stuff starting from your daily reading feeds.

K- Yes, that is a limitation of Memeorandum, it just happens that my primary interest is tech. I've heard Gabe say that he has thougt about other topics (cooking or food being one I recall), but that the bloggers who talk about that sort of thing aren't as linked up as other areas and so it was harder to do. I want a music or movie Memo. myself.M- The problem with Meme. is also the thing that makes it different from Technorati. Yes, Meme. pulls from a smaller universe (even w/in the tech universe), but I too find that there is much on Tech. that does not interest me.H- You site was one that I noticed has not been updated in a while.Technorati simply has to fix this stuff and turn the skeptics into advocates.

I have just finished having problems with Technorati. I hadn't been updated in 19 days, when in fact I was updating every day if not more often. After two e-mails and several days they finally got my site indexed properly.

After embracing Technorati whole-heartedly at the beginning of my blogging endeavors, I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with how difficult it is to actually find blogs and blog posts that interest me. Hopefully they will get their issues straightened out.Now I'm off to give memeorandum a spin...

Memeorandom is great, but it is very limited in topic scope. Give me a good fiction.memeorandom or writers.memeorandom or any of the other millions of hobbies real people use the internet for, and there will be your real killer. Technorati has a much better ability to handle a wide variety of topics them Memeorandom at this point. Most of the internet users are not computer geeks.
