I've never sent an e-mail to some "big-time" blogger in that way. I've sent e-mails to colleagues in my profession-none of whom blog-asking them to look at content, that's it.The e-mail thing seems like pimping. I do what I do to help those who are looking for info in my field. My goal is to help 1 at a time, and what happens from there . . .happens from there. Will it be best for me this way-who knows, I will continue to seek out those in my field, and the youngsters coming along. Heck I enjoy it anyway!

I'll have to join Kate in the naive area. Although, I will plead guilty to a couple of emails sent to "experts" in something I thought they'd find interesting. More importantly, I blog because I really enjoy it and find some satisfaction in it. Ego loves it when the stats go up...but I've read enough advise from more experienced bloggers to know it is best to keep that in check. So, what would be the best way to share with an expert? Blog it and link to them?

Wow. Hmm. I'm naive! I never even thought of emailing a strange blogger, saying, "You might find this thing of mine interesting"! I do, however, sporadically email links to other people's articles that I think other bloggers might be interested in.The few emails I've gotten of that type, I've thought were just spam.I told you I was naive!
