I'm new to blogging and looking for ways to do it right. I chose Word Press, my own domain and hosting provider. It cost a few bucks, but after reading this article I feel great about this choice. I would hope at some point if you just continually slam out good content, and repond to those who do remark on what your saying-that would build your audience.But what do i know, i’m just a guy who digs in the dirt.However i do seem to run across a lot of Blogs that spend way too much time on expanding their audience

Great response. I agree with pretty much everything except the ads thing. The iBLOGthere4iM blog makes $30/d. That might not seem like a lot, but it's pretty good for 30 minutes of effort per day. And that's not my only blog (it is my best paying). Across my entire blog network, I've made as much as $9XX in one day. I'm no a-lister. Anybody can do it.
