I&#039;m having a difficult time understanding your assertion that Jarvis has any sort of &quot;control over who gets to participate in the blogosphere conversations&quot;As a long-time blogger, I have to say that I don&#039;t think that there&#039;s ANY control and if you believe anyone has any sort of control over who participates, well, then maybe we&#039;re experiencing different blogospheres?  You are in control over who you cite, over which comments you retain and over which trackbacks you publicly display, if any, but that&#039;s not control over the discussion, it&#039;s control over your own room in this massive mansion of chaotic thought and sentiment.Ditto for Jeff or any of the other so-called &quot;A-List Bloggers&quot;. They can opt to cite or not cite me, respond or not respond to me, but that&#039;s not CONTROL over the discussion, that&#039;s just control over their wee little corner of things.</description>
