For me blogging is all about the conversation. The platform that we use is only relevant in so far as what we want to achieve with it."saying the word Blog out loud makes me feel ridiculous"So where does that leave me?Cheers, and thanks for the link....BB

What if I write a bunch of blog content on paper, pass it around and have people write notes on it? Would Microsoft count that as a blog? These discussions always amuse me. I like to call the junk I write on the internet "my website." Seems easier to me. Plus, just saying the word Blog out loud makes me feel ridiculous. It seems Scoble's site is having the same update problems that you are by the way. Neither one of you are showing no posts in my bloglines account. If I list stuff over the last X number of Units, I see everything. Odd.

Not to defend Scoble (but, yes, to defend him!), that particular post pointed out that the vast majority of MySpace "blogs" are empty.Which reminds me of the recent questioning of Technorati's latest "state of the blogosphere" report--the question of, even if they're doing their best to not index splogs, how many of the huge influx of blogs they are indexing have any content...For instance, when I recently revamped my blog design, I created a test blog so I could play without ruining my stuff. Is Technorati indexing that "blog"? (Reminds me, I need to delete it...)
