Matthew is the man! I’ve got an old tape I made of a WRVU broadcast with that classic Guadalcanal Diary tune. It was always a favorite of mine. I also love the Dickie Goodman stuff…at least for the nostalgia value – the Jaws one he did reminds me of being in grade school.

Hey Kent — this page (http://half-lifeandtimes.blogspot.com/2006/08/decidedly-non-random-friday-10.html) mentions a band called Guadalcanal Diary that did a song called I Wish I’d Killed John Wayne in the mid-1980s.
