I have to agree. I have a Dell and an HP and the biggest problem in buying the Dell was the two week wait, even with overnight shipping.

I hear you. Dell and HP are both pretty good, but experienced users will confirm that Apple is best at keeping track of monger pads. I rest my case.

One of the many design features I like about this new HP laptop is the little button at the top of the touchpad that lets you turn the touchpad on and off. Otherwise, I would constantly move the cursor around while typing, etc.

Ironically, my company switched me from an HP laptop to a Dell. My complaint with the Dell is that you can’t disable the onboard mice (that stick thing and the touchpad). If your fingers drag, as mine are wont to do, the “click” action is activated and all kinds of crazy stuff happens. Annoying.I have never bought a pre-fab (name brand) computer. If I ever want a laptop, I guess I’ll have to go that route as building your own isn’t really an option.Welcome back!
