Thank you for the link Kent! I agree, there is little reason to fawn over the so-called A-Listers. I do enjoy reading them, but really don’t care if they link to me or not.I’ve found much more useful content from blogs written by people outside the a-list club than within it.Cheers!~Rick Mahn

Kent,Thanks for the link. =)Until recently, I used an “incoming links” plugin for WordPress that listed every incoming link for my blog in the links section of my sidebar.Unfortunately, a good 75% of the links were from splogs, or straight out spam sites, so I took it down. Another great idea rendered obsolete by spam. Then again, given the amount of spam I receive daily on the blog (I’ve had Askimet running for less than six months, and it’s already blocked over 30,000 spam comments (and let through some four hundred)), this isn’t entirely surprising.

I’d like to think that as long as a blog provides an interesting and stimulating perspective on life and the issues of note (whatever to whoever) it will be worth continuing to visit in its own right.The Tubes are full of content.
