Hi Kent, great idea, and thanks for asking me. Rather than take up lots of your screen space I've blogged my response <a HREF="http://www.consumingexperience.com/2007/06/kent-newsomes-swivel-feeds-my.html" rel="nofollow">here</A>.CheersImp.

Kent,Here are my 4.http://ballastexistenz.autistics.org/ - Our son has autism and reading this woman's blog is just shockingly insightful about the inner workings of somebody with autism. The stuff she expresses would never end up reaching my ears unless she were lucky enough to get a book deal. Go Blogs!http://jakonrath.blogspot.com/ - A published author who talks about what he thinks authors need to do to help their own careers. He challenges authors by telling them they need to do a lot of work that a lot of wannabe authors are not interested in doing. Plus he lives within 30 minutes of my house and his books are set in Chicago so I recognize a lot of the locations he talks about.http://bonniestaring.blogspot.com/ - A friend I made online that I don't even know where I found her. She makes me laugh.http://strugglingwriter.wordpress.com/ - Another person I have been following for a while that I don't know where we met.I subscribe to and skim a ton of blogs, but these are the people that I really enjoy for showing me insider information (in the case of the first two) or that I would make sure I kept in touch with if they shut their blogs down (in the case of the last two)

TD, they probably are duplicative. But I read both Money and Smart Money and both PC and PC World.None of those feeds have tenure. It just means I'm not dumping them now and they aren't really part of the swivel experiment.

Seems like some of those news blogs are duplicates, Kent. For example, what do you get at Mashable that you don't get already (and usually better) at TechCrunch?

This is such a cool concept. It will be very interesting to see the final list. You'll also have to keep track of how many blogs get multiple votes and stuff like that. I'll try to get you my list sometime this weekend.
