		<description>Kent:As I wrote in my post, I understand Kevin Rose&#039;s fear of getting sued. I myself have also had to make similar calls as a community manager in my past, but I think that the focus here really is at the way that Digg handled the situation. There were many other ways to handle it rather than just starting to censor messages and ban users - the same users who helped build this community and make him a rich man.</description>

		<description>In the end I think the copyrighted content (the encryption key in this case) was secondary to the Digg community reaction - that was more to do with the way Rose &amp; Co (mis-)handled the situation.There is probably now an argument that the encryption key itself has spread far enough to be &quot;public knowledge&quot;, but the Digg experience is, IMO, more about not biting the hand that feeds you - and I agree: Kevin would no doubt do it very differently if he had the chance.</description>
