There are certainly similarities, however, there is one significant difference. Even the most prolific songwriters can't churn out a few hundred good songs per year. A good blogger certainly could write two or three GOOD blog posts each week, sometimes more and he/she can most certainly turn out 10 or more average blog posts per week.Even the best songwriters working at full capacity would never try to churn out 200 songs per year, 100 even. In fact, most songwriters HOPE to write ONE great song in a lifetime and hope to write a few dozen or so each year that are worthy of performing, recording, etc.I love my blog and reading other blogs, but I can't honestly say I've ever read a blog post that I re-read in my head over and over for years. But, I can think of dozens of songs that would fit that categorization for sure.
