Though it may well be a very cogent piece of analysis for all I know as opposed to spam in chinese.The other side of corporations not enabling comments (though I disagree with it) is the fear of litigation - trackbacks are off your site, not on it and it's easier to feel that you're somehow 'safe' (rather like that monster in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy which believed that if you couldn't see it then it couldn't see you).
