I was wondering what those Webkinz are all about. I saw a sign on the window of a local shop, figured (from the rest of the display) I’m not the target audience, but obviously I’m curious about any social network I’m not invited to join

Thanks for mentioning my Webkinz post. The whole phenomenon fascinates me, as a marketer and as a parent. One of the things I like the most is that he can share what he is doing with us, which is not so easy in his more action oriented games. My biggest criticism, as I wrote in my post, is that the World’s infrastructure often seems unable to support the number of children logging on, which can make for a frustrating experience. Other than that, I’ll take having my kid in Webkinz World over the annoying sounds of Pokemon on his Nintendo any day.

Kent,Thanks for the link. The good news is that despite the new Universal Installer, Live components can still individually be unistalled from Control Panel, so in the end we can keep the only worthwile program – Live Writer
