1/16/2008The Non-iTuners ManifestoWe have previously rejected iPods, because we refuse to capitulate to iTunes, both the application and the format, as the toll road to our musical destinations. We hereby reject iTunes movie rentals because we refuse to capitulate to idiotic viewing limitations:

I used to use iTunes and then record and rerip any music that I bought. But when I switched to Linux 100% at home, iTunes was not an option anymore. Oh well. If they don't want my money....

I previously rejected the iPod, too, because of its adherence to iTunes, but then I discovered ml_ipod the Winamp iPod plugin which deftly avoids any need for iTunes, and works like a blimmin' dream.
