Thanks for the comment, Earl. I am amazed at how much I love these products. It's the little things- like the photos/music slideshow feature in the AppleTV. With one click it does something better than all my computers, software, hard work, etc. had managed to do before. And, again, it's easy and it works. Like all this stuff should.Troy, I think your battle will be to get the corporate IT guys on your side. I like the idea of using Evernote (or some other app with user traction) as a springboard. We never thought big companies would support the iPhone, but they had too because lots and lots of people demanded it.

Great post Kent. I couldn't agree more with your assessment. We have a project management application that we are designing to cross the chasm from early adopters to the early majority. As part of that initiative, we have done an integration with Evernote. Now, you can create tasks, messages and file uploads in the Pelotonics system using your Evernote data. It is pretty cool and is an example of what you are talking about. Let Evernote do what they do well and let other companies like Pelotonics integrate with them and provide the higher level Enterprise features and security that is needed for adoption in larger organizations. I put together a few use cases here: http://www.pelotonics.com/evernote_usecases.htmlI would love to see what you think about the marriage of technologies.@troymalone

Kent, I enjoyed this post and it certainly gave a bit more structure to some of my thoughts along this line. The "small pond" was at one time the only pond for most smart phones. With it's design, functionality and ease of use, the Apple iPhone has transitioned beyond this pond to the new and much larger pond of users of which you spoke. Now the iPhone is being sold at Walmarts and this large pond may soon become an ocean!?Yourself in point--a user who earlier didn't have much good to say about Apple is now singing their praise and buying more of their devices. Welcome to the light my friend! ;-)
