It's March 29, my feed has been down for two days, and I like you ended up at the FeedBurner Help Group, where we are howling into the night. The good news is that some feeds appear to be fixing themselves after a couple of days, but the lack of any update to the FeedBurner Status blog since March 11 is disturbing; neither your 3/13 problem or the current 3/27-3/29 problem appears to be worth mentioning.

Mega thanks to you for blogging your frustration and to you AND Dr. Chuck for providing the solution. My RSS feed died Thursday evening, just when I had kicked off a small giveaway. I was bereft, among other things, at hosting a contest no one showed up to. I’ve applied the fix you described and just received my first feed. You both have my boundless gratitude!

When I moved my WordPress blog to a new host a couple of weeks ago Feedburner stopped updating my feeds for a day. Nothing should have changed as far as Feedburner was concerned, the feed address was exactly the same as before.After trying everything I could think of I gave up and went to bed. The next morning they were working again…I have no idea why. Luckily I’ve not experienced the feed delays.I agree timely RSS feeds are critical and it’s a big deal when they’re not. I’ll be interested if there’s any resolution this issue.

Kent – Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I agree we should be doing a better job communicating with our users.First off, huge thanks for documenting the work-around, as shared in our help group. We do have staff monitoring the forums, but we’re always looking at ways to make the support process more effective. We’ll try and learn from this to improve.In the meantime, I’m @rklau on Twitter, and I keep an eye on @Blogger (as do several others on the team). Please keep in touch, and thanks for using Blogger.

I wondered; After I saw your Twitters yesterday about new blog posts, I waited…and waited…and waited for something to show up in my reader feed. Nothing, nada, zilch.It sounds very frustrating, and as a reader it’s frustrating, too. I hope it gets fixed soon. FYI, sometimes the “official blogs” have some kind of note as to what’s going on (though people posting in “user help groups” shouldn’t need to go to another place entirely to find an answer…).
