There&#039;s no direct network access only via the software which may still operate of the WAN.It&#039;s more expensive, but the newish HP SmartMedia servers do Windows and Mac- and do wonderful automated backups.  I don&#039;t know if there&#039;s a Linux ramp for them.</description>

		<description>Do you think something like that would be good for sharing a media drive (music,photos,video) between Linux, Mac, Windows computers in my home.I&#039;d like to rip my CD collection and put the photos, videos all on one drive and be able to use it with all the computers in my house (I have all 3 flavors).</description>
