Mike, about all XM can do to keep me as a customer is to stop nickel and diming me by charging extra for online access, additional hardware, etc. And I don't think they can afford to be price competitive. As soon as cars get mobile wi-fi, I think it's almost certainly game over for XM.Will, one of the huge benefits of XM is continuity during long drives (and in remote places). For me it was largely about ad-avoidance. It's still a lot easier to tune into XM than to hook up my iPhone to my car audio, but over time I suspect that gap will lessen. Maybe eventually Pandora, etc. can play to same role.

This all has me very concerned. When we move out to BFE I was counting on satellite radio to be there for me for those long drives in the middle of nowhere. I really hope it's around.

I'm very very close to canceling my subscription. I've had it for a couple years now and like it but think that I can live with a digital FM radio and my iPod Touch.
