Cassidy, Delaney, Luke, Lucky Dog and their friends Evie, Aiden and Loossee conceived of, designed (with help from the moms) and wore Wizard of Oz costumes for this year’s Howl-O-Ween canine costume contest and dog parade. They won, for the second year in a row.

Cassidy and Delaney are old pros at the paper thing. They’ve been in papers and magazines numerous times. In fact, Cassidy’s first media experience was when she was one. On the cover of Money Magazine, thanks to one of her daddy’s bad investments.
One of my photos of Cassidy and Rachael got used in the local paper. It helps to have pretty models, and a good agent (Rachael’s mom).
I wrote an article for the October edition of the RED News, a Texas commercial real estate publication. It’s an article about negotiation strategy, using as an example an actual negotiation I had with Cassidy the other day over an Icee.

We went with the Clarks and the Fenrichs to Pico’s for dinner tonight. While we were there the crew was filming an episode of Texas Food TV on Mexican restaurants in Houston. We were asked to appear on the show, and our entire group was filmed as I introduced myself and then each person individually. I talked about why we enjoy Pico’s. Then Greg Clark spoke about Pico’s catering his wedding reception 15 years ago this month.
The kids really got into it and can’t wait to see themselves on TV. The show begins on September 18 on KUHT. Our episode will be broadcast in January.
